FRANCESSTEIN
By Donna Jean Lyons (more about the author)
Release date: Coming Fall 2012
Frances Fisher wasn’t the most popular girl in high school. Homely and mousy, she was picked on mercilessly by her classmates for being a penniless, timid outcast. Her only friend, Tucker Hatfield, a self-absorbed classmate, always took advantage of Fran’s gentle and loving nature. Despite how Tucker treated her, it didn’t take long before Frances would do anything for the woman’s attention.
Life for Frances didn’t change much after graduation, and her lonely, drab existence wasn’t looking any brighter. Then she receives a handful of pretty brochures and a letter from the U.S. Defense Agency offering her a large paycheck for experimental cosmetic surgery. Thinking her prayers have been answered and this is her one shot to finally secure Tucker’s affection, Frances takes her chances and signs on the dotted line without ever reading the fine print. What starts out as a little nip-n-tuck ultimately turns into a deadly resurrection-n-cut.
And that’s when things begin to get ugly.
